Visitor’s Visa

You need a visitor’s visa if you want to come to the UK for a short period of up to six months. This can be as a tourist, to visit friends or family or to carry out a business activity.

Requirements

1. You want to visit the UK for no more than six months
2. You intend to leave the UK at the end of your visit, and
3. You have enough money to support yourself and live in the UK without working or needing any help from public funds.
4. Previous immigration history and evidence of a pattern of family migration, both here and abroad, are also matters to be considered, and a visitor should not normally spend more than 6 out of any 12 months in the UK.
